So as always, we are beginning to feel the excitement of another thrilling World Series of Poker. And as always, there is already a lot of mumbling going on about who will be there. We know that a few of our friends will, including the Alexander brothers from McAllen, Texas. (James Alexander made it all the way to 19th place at the main event and took home $285,408 last year). We will be cheering for both Duane and James from the rails.

Pocket Bullets Paris at WSOP 2013We’re sure that a lot of the older warriors, like Phil Hellmuth, Daniel Negreanu, Phil Ivey, and maybe even one of the oldest warriors, Doyle “Texas Dolly” Brunson, will show up. Riess ‘The Beast” Ryan will most likely be there to try to make it two titles in a row. Who knows, it’s still to early to tell, but PokerNews has put out their annual “Watch Out For” list of rookies. They include some very serious newbie players that we would exercise caution with when sitting with them at the same poker tables. Here is PokerNews list of seven to watch at this year’s WSOP:

  1. Ole Schemion – 21, from Germany
  2. Dominik Panka – 22, from Poland
  3. Lukas Berglund – 21, from Sweden
  4. Jordan Westmorland – 24, from America
  5. Christoph Vogelsang – 28, from Germany
  6. Alen Bilic – 25, from Bosnia
  7. Mateusz Moolhuizen – 24, from The Netherlands

We will be keeping a close watch on these guys, and we will definitely be cheering for our friends, the Alexander brothers. We hope to see y’all there.
